Owner Paul I. Coltrin received his Funeral Director and Embalmer License from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1973. He grew up in Burley, Idaho, graduating from Burley High School in 1967. He became a partner at Hill-Coltrin-Sandberg Funeral Home in 1979 for four years. He purchased Williams Funeral Home in 1984 and changed the name to Coltrin Mortuary in 1989. He is active in his faith and has resided in Idaho Falls as well as Ammon for the past 23 years.
Paul has served as President of the Idaho Funeral Service Association and is an active member of Rotary International. He is a past member of the Idaho Falls School District #91 School Board and a past president of the Bonneville Unit of the American Cancer Society. he is also a past president of the Idaho Funeral Service Association. He has also participated in community musical productions. He and his wife Nancy have six children and 22 grandchildren.

Nancy Coltrin was born in Rexburg, ID, the daughter of Boyd and Merle Stallings. She grew up in the Idaho Falls, Rigby, and Rupert areas and graduated from Minico High School in 1967.
Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University in English Education with a minor in Speech and Drama in 1971
She married Paul Coltrin on June 10, 1970 in Idaho Falls. They have 6 children, and 22 grandchildren.
Nancy taught for several years at Rocky Mountain Middle School and Hillcrest High School. She also assists in directing funeral services.

Doug Coltrin, son of Paul and Nancy Coltrin, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Geography from the University of Idaho in Moscow in 2001. Doug worked for funeral homes in the Moscow-Pullman area and joined the Coltrin Mortuary staff in 2003.
He grew up in Ammon and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1994. Doug is a 2005 graduate of Arapahoe Community College's Mortuary Science Program in Littleton Colorado, and is a Licensed Mortician with Coltrin Mortuary. Doug is also a licensed agent with Forethought Insurance Company for selling pre-paid funeral plans.
Doug is active with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. Doug is also the site manager for www.coltrinmortuary.com
Mary Coltrin, Doug’s wife, is also a graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Mary grew up in Moscow, Idaho and graduated from Moscow High School in 1998. She is the daughter of Fred and Carolyn Jensen of Idaho Falls, formerly of Moscow. She works as a program designer for the funeral home.
Doug and Mary live east of Idaho Falls and have five children.

Kyle is a Funeral Director with Coltrin Mortuary. He is the son of Kelly and Mac Larsen of Idaho Falls. He is a 1997 Graduate of Meridian High School in Meridian, Idaho where he served as Senior Class President. He is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, where he majored in Biology and played soccer.
He has been with Coltrin Mortuary since 2004 and is a 2006 graduate of Arapahoe Community College's Mortuary Science Program. Kyle is an active member of the Idaho Falls Kiwanis Club. Kyle is also a licensed agent with Forethought Life Insurance Company for selling pre-paid funeral plans.
Kyle is married to the former Gina Pack and they have 4 children and live in the Lincoln area of Idaho Falls.

Ian Blacker Apprentice Mortician
Ian Blacker joined the staff of Coltrin Mortuary in 2006 part-time, assisting with funerals. He was hired full-time in 2009.
Ian has grown up in Idaho Falls. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1996 and from Idaho State University in Pocatello in 2009 with a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Small Business Entrapaneurship.
Ian and his wife Melanie live in Idaho Falls and have 2 children.

Dorothy P. Kennedy has been the office manager since 1995. She is the daughter of Dean and Ruth Perry. She was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. She graduated from Madison High School and received her Bachelor of Sciences degree from Utah State University.
She is married to Joe S. Kennedy of Randolph, Utah. Joe is a retired farm and ranch appraiser for Farm Credit Services. They have lived in Logan, Preston, Blackfoot, and Boise, before coming to Idaho Falls, in 1981. They are the parents of six children and 16 grandchildren.
Dorothy enjoys doing family history, especially writing and compiling histories.

Kendra McDaniel has been with Coltrin Mortuary since September of 1998. She works evening viewings, funerals, and part time in the mortuary office.
Kendra is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include making quilts and working in her rose garden.

Orland Bailey has been with Coltrin Mortuary since 2003. He is part of our viewing staff and works part time, assisting with funeral services as well.
Orland is a native of Ammon, Idaho and has resided in Ammon all his life. Orland worked for the Union Pacific Railroad giving 40 years service to them before his retirement. He also was a member of the Ammon Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years.
Orland also helps out in the community delivering food to the area homeless shelters, and area food banks.
Orland is a recipient of the KPVI NBC News Channel 6 Jefferson Award for Public Service, and KIFI (ABC) Local News 8's "People Who Make A Difference" Award.

Dena has been with Coltrin Mortuary for 2 1/2 years. She works as part of our evening visitation staff.
Dena was born and raised in Iona, just east of Idaho Falls. She has four daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Her hobbies are traveling, reading, family, and hand work.
