Happy Dance - August 1, 2010
Posted: March 1, 2011 | Last Revised: March 2, 2011
When this all happened July 23 2010, Tammie's sister Jessica was here in Idaho Falls, Jessica had told me that she told Tammie that she would go to church but only is she woke up, I was up seeing Tammie at the hospital while she still had the the breathing tube and in a coma, I was talking to her about what Jessica had said about church, I told Tammie how exciting that was and could she do the happy dance, Well low and behold her shoulderd began to boggie, and there was the happy dance, she did it for me twice, so I called her nurse in, Well not thinking of how much that took for her to do that there was very little energy left, Well the nurse told me that was not a command and it had to be something normal like a command of sticking he tounge out, Well my first thought was, you do not know my friend Tammie very well and then I thought normal? I knew then she really did know Tammie at all.
So when they took the tubes out and she woke up, Brian called me and told me I was right, I said about what? he said the happy dance, she was awake and doing the happy dance, and the doctor asked Brian what she was doing and he I'm sure smiled as large as life and told the doctor, she is doing the happy dance. So for all who wonder, when they read the guestbook and read about the happy dance, they will all know were that came from. Thank you God for the awesome memories of Tammie I have.
