Donald Roy Wilson of Idaho Falls died at the age of 78, December 14, 2012, from natural causes.
He was born September 7, 1934, in Dillon, Montana.He was the first son born to Marjorie Anderson and Harry S. Wilson.
He began working for the Yellow Cab Company and then worked 23 years at French’s/Pillsbury potato dehydration plant in Shelley. His favorite occupation while working as a shuttle driver for National Avis Car Rental, included security detail for King Hussein of Jordan, when he visited this area, as well as for Sammy Davis Jr. during Don’s younger years.
He was married several times and leaves behind three sons: Roy, Daniel, Terry and a daughter, Lora; 3 step children; Sherrie, Tammy and Danny; a brother, Toby; several nephews, nieces and grandchildren that shared in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a baby sister, Carol.
Some of his favorite activities were hunting, fishing and living up to his beloved nickname “Wild Turkey”.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. At his request, cremation will take place under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
