Adeline Deon Dutton, 75, of Idaho Falls, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls of natural causes. She was born October 4, 1938, in Idaho Falls, to Alfred Simpson and Katherine Elizabeth Colby Simpson. She grew up in Idaho Falls. Adeline attended the Telford Academy. On December 12, 1961, she married John Logan Dutton in Idaho Falls at the home of her brother, Jim and Mary Simpson. After John's passing in 1977, she later married Fredrick C. Lahman. They were together 13 years before his passing. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Adeline enjoyed crocheting, embroidery work, and patchwork quilting, but especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by the following: Son, John Todd (Niki Harmon) Dutton of Idaho Falls;Daughter, Candy Deon Hurt of Oregon; Brother, James Alfred (Mary, deceased) Simpson of Idaho Falls; Sisters: Wynona (Victor, deceased) Elder of Idaho Falls; Donna May (Jerry) Allen of Yucca, Arizona; and Nora Ann (Douglas) Brackan of Summerville, South Carolina; Granddaughters: Heather Ann Lahman of Oregon, Melanie Sue Lahman and Amy Fae Lahman both of Salt Lake City, Utah; Debra Evon Hurt Rex and Kirsty Dawn Hurt Rex both of Idaho Falls; and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Adeline was preceded in death by her husbands: John Logan Dutton on October 9, 1977 and Fredrick C. Lahman in 1994; and a brother, Robert Lake Simpson on December 28, 2010. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Ammon LDS 16th Ward, 4459 John Adams Parkway, with Bishop Kris Kunz officiating. The family will meet friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
