Alana Jane (Stecklein) Harris, 49, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She had been in ill health for several years and died of complications from her illness. She was born May 18, 1960 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Alana is the fifth child of six children born to Leonard Stecklein and Lorene (Short) (Stecklein) Cantu. Alana grew up and went to school in the Snake River area. She enjoyed nature, art and old movies. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She met and married Rodney Harris. They were married in 1980 in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Stecklein. Alana is survived by her husband, Rodney Harris and three children, Katie Harris Fangsrud, Crystal Harris (Joshua) Redlich, and Christopher Harris. Three grandchildren, Jason and Jonathan Redlich and Elexus Fangsrud. She is also survived by her mother, Lorene Cantu, her step-father, Lionel Cantu and her three brothers and two sisters: Rickey (Karen) Stecklein, Elizabeth (Rodney) Jackman, Alex (Debra) Stecklein, Janiece (Flint) Stecklein, and Leslie Stecklein all of Blackfoot, Idaho.
