Obituary

Alice LaVonne Hurt Ruder, 70, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and formerly of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at her home.

She was born March 8, 1939, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Ivan H. And Hazel J. Koon Hurt. She grew up in Cheyenne and graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1957.

She attended Mountain Bell and Qwest trade schooling throughout her 30+ years of working there. She was a certified nutritionist.

She married Clarke Theobald and they were later divorced. She married Ralph J. Ruder in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, on December 26, 1975.

She lived in Cheyenne, Pine Bluffs, Afton and Alpine, Wyoming, and Idaho Falls.

She loved harvesting and the study of herbs, fishing, snowmobiling and she had a special love for her four birds.

Alice was a fun, loving, caring and adventurous wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by the following: husband, Ralph Ruder of Idaho Falls;son, Allen (Laura) Theobald of Ocoee, Florida; daughter, Johnna (Dean) Charron of Elk Grove, California; stepsons: John Ruder of Meeker, Colorado; Michael and Joseph Ruder both of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; stepdaughters: Vicki Lehmkulla of Loveland, Colorado, and Julie Weimer of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; sisters: Nancy Stokes of Mobile, Alabama; and Carol Green of Cheyenne, Wyoming; granddaughters: Miranda Theobald of Casselbury, Florida, and Valerie Baumeister of Tallahassee, Florida; grandsons: Darren Ruder of Idaho Falls and Andrew and Michael Hernandez both of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
