Allen L. "Noah" Clayton, 65, of Roberts, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1949, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Jacob Clayton and Opal Maxine Mayben Clayton. He grew up and attended schools in Gadsden. In 1967, he graduated from Gaston high School. He attended Gadsden State College where he earned a business degree. On September 13, 1971, he married Cathy Marie Parnell in Gadsden. She passed away June 20, 2013. Besides living in Roberts he lived in Silver Creek, Georgia. Noah was self-employed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by the following:Sons: Jacob (Bobbie) Clayton of Roberts, and William Clayton of Birmingham, Alabama; Brothers: Jackie (Ginger) Clayton of Birmingham, Alabama; Danny (Dianne) Clayton of Tolar, Texas; David (Sherry) Clayton of Rainbow City, Alabama; and Edwin (Diane) Clayton of Gadsden, Alabama; and 3 grandchildren. Noah was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. March 29, 2014, at the Roberts Senior Citizen's Center, 2862 E. 650 N., Roberts.
