He was born March 8, 1986, the son of Zane B. Rackham and Tammi Smith. He grew up in the Idaho Falls area and attended local schools. He had previously worked for Idaho Travertine but at the time of his death he was working for L&W Stone.

He loved the outdoors-hunting and fishing, working on his Mustangs, spending time with family and playing with his boys. People of all ages loved Allen as soon as they met him; his smile was contagious.

Survivors include his parents: Zane and Arlena Rackham, Idaho Falls; his mother, Tammi Smith. Of Florida; grandparents: Darleen Rackham, Chris and Sienna Morrow, Idaho Falls, and Larry Smith, of Florida; his fiancee: Paula Richards, Idaho Falls; 3 step-sons, Shonathen Richards, Kristopher Richards, Brandon Richards all of Idaho Falls; 2 brothers, Claud Rackham, and Brandon Rackham; 2 sisters, Breanna Rackham, and Sorcha Rackham, and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Claud Rackham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
