Mother of Marlene Riplinger

Alma L. Foreman, 84, of Spokane Valley WA, died June 29, 2006 at her home.

She was born January 23, 1922 in Wymore NE, the daughter of Henry and Mona Hartwig Zimmerman. She grew up in Wymore and attended schools in the area graduating from Barneston High School in Barneston, NE in 1940.

She married Otto F. Spielman in 1941. They were later divorced. She married Jay Loomis in 1969. He passed away in 1992. She married Ellsworth "Doc" Foreman on October 26, 2002 in Coeur d' Alene, ID

She moved to Nampa, ID in 1949. While living there she worked for the Canyon County Assessor's Office, in Caldwell, as Deputy Assessor. She moved to Sagle ID in 1972, and to Coeur d' Alene in 1990, and then to Spokane Valley WA, in 2002.

She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, past member of the Sandpoint and Coeur d' Alene Eagles, a member of the Musettes in Nampa, ID and the Harmony Group in Sandpoint, ID. She enjoyed quilting and crafts.

She is survived by her husband Ellsworth "Doc" Foreman of Spokane Valley, WA; 3 daughters, Marlene Riplinger (Bob) of Idaho Falls, Marsha Roberts (Grant) of Caldwell, ID, and Marla Rue (Michael) of Post Falls, ID; a twin brother, Arnold Zimmerman of Beatrice, NE; 2 sisters, Emily Saathoff of Beatrice, NE, and Lula Woodward of Nampa, ID; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 3p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at the Spokane Valley Nazarene Church, 15515 E.20th in Spokane Valley, WA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 10a.m.-12 Noon at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d' Alene, ID with Interment to follow at Coeur d' Alene Memorial Gardens at 1p.m. Local arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary in Idaho Falls.
