Obituary

Amanda Mariana Engle was born October 20th, 1993 in Renton, Washington to Angela Engle. Her Life and that of her unborn baby ended far too soon on January 24th, 2014, in Idaho Falls. She was known as Amanda to her friends, and to her family as Mariana. Amanda continually graced us with a happy, cheerful spirit. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, embracing every opportunity or challenge with a positive attitude and confidence and helped others become confident in who they were as well. Amanda always saw the good in people, loved unconditionally, and showed compassion and care to everyone in her life whether it was her family, her friends or those that she worked with. Amanda shared a love with her mother, Angela that knew no limits, and always referred to her as her best friend. She loved her brother, Jagger, more than anything. Her unconditional love for him was instant, and will continue to be with him forever. In the last few years Amanda found great joy and success working as a care provider in an Assisted Living community. Her natural compassion and empathy for others made it easy for her to get to know each person, but more importantly to love and care for them. Not only did heaven gain two more angels, but let us all feel blessed knowing that we did as well. Amanda Mariana is survived by her Mother, Angela Engle Henry, and step-fathers: Bryan Andrew Duvall, and Robert Michael Henry; a brother, Jagger Michael Henry; her grandparents: Sylvia Engle, Lester Frederick Engle, Laura Engle, Stephen Bruce Duvall and Ellen Kay Duvall; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of which loved her completely. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Joshua Alexander Engle and her great grandparents, Joseph Doyle Jensen, Catherine Johnston Kirby, Charles Frederick Engle, and Georgia Caroline Reeves. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stake Center, 1155 E. First St. in Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls, and for one hour Thursday prior to services at the church.
