Andrew Ladale (Andy) Carter, 45, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Andy was born on April 4, 1977, in Rexburg, Idaho to Edmund L and Glenda B. Anderson Carter. He grew up in Idaho Falls where he graduated from Skyline High School in 1996.

After high school, Andy worked with his dad and brother doing drywall from Pocatello to the Montana State line. For the last few years, Andy worked with his dad in their own handyman business. He enjoyed helping others. He loved being self-employed and was proud of that accomplishment.

He loved spending time with his friends at the riverwalk. He enjoyed woodworking, forging knives, painting, many outdoor activities, and quoting funny movies.

Andy was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Andy's sense of humor had no bounds, and he could brighten even the darkest of days.

He is survived by his son, Thaid Carter of Idaho Falls; his father, Ed Carter of Idaho Falls; his brother, Eddie (Ruth) Carter of Idaho Falls; his sister, Rachel (Terry) Hubler of Blackfoot.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Carter; his sister, Caprice Watson; and his grandparents.
