Angela Dawn "Angie" Potter, 55, passed away July 7, 2023, at home from complicated health issues. Angie was born June 11, 1968, in Idaho Falls, Idaho the daughter of Wayne Douglas Potter and Pamela Murdock Tomita.

She moved to Snoqualmie, Washington in 1978 with her family where she attended MT SI High School. She went on to be a certified nursing aid and Phlebotomist and worked in health care for many years. Angela loved her clients, and they enjoyed her, she was a ray of sunshine to those less fortunate.

Angela loved to travel. She lived in Washington, California, Hawaii, and North Carolina and moved back to Idaho Falls in 1990. Angie had one son, Nicholas Donn Luthy, on June 25, 1992, who blessed her with a grandson, Jayden Donavan Luthy, on March 15, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Rex and Ilene Murdock and Fred and Fern Potter; and her brothers: Michael Troy Potter and Brett Wayne Potter.

Angie is survived by her son, Nicholas Donn Luthy; grandson, Jayden Donavan Luthy; her half-sisters: Wendy Potter of Salt Lake City, Utah and Karen Warner of Harriman, Utah.

Angie always remembered her friends; if it was your birthday, she baked you a cake. She loved garage sales and wheeling and dealing on things she wanted. She loves to decorate, and her favorite color was all shades of purple. Angela was a beautiful soul who passed too soon. She had a captivating personality and smile that lit up the room and she made friends everywhere she went. Her friends and family deeply loved her, and she will be missed every day. Angela suffered great pain in her last years as her health failed but she always kept a positive attitude and prayed for better days. May the angels keep their loving arms around her, deliver her from pain, and soar to the heavens.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
