Anna Dorothea (Dot) Dickinson was born November 1, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Florence and William Wenzell. She passed away July 29, 2016 at her home, 78 days after losing her husband of 67 years.

Dot met the love of her life Richard Edward Dickinson while he was stationed in Boston in the Navy. To their union Richard Edward Jr., Linda Ann and Robert Charles made their family complete. Dot was a wonderful mother and grandma. She was blessed with so many talents. She was a seamstress that clothed her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and always made sure everyone was well fed. She loved bowling and was a coach for junior bowling for years. Dot was a care taker at home. She was a nurse's aide at Good Samaritan Nursing Home and worked in the recovery room at Sacred Heart Hospital and Parkview Hospital.

She and Dick had a wonderful life together traveling to Hawaii every year with friends. They enjoyed spending the winters at their home in Arizona. Dot had the best table at every craft fair and loved spending time with her friends coming up with new projects to sell.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard (Shannon); son, Bob (Marie), seven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two great great grandsons with two more on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; daughter, Linda; brothers: William, Bobby, Billy, Eddie, Jimmy and sisters: Helen, Margie, Frannie, Florie as well as her parents.

The family would like to Thank One Source Hospice and Home Health, Aukia, Rochelle and her granddaughter, Haily, for caring and loving her in her final days.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
