Antonio Orozco Melero, 48, of Idaho Falls, died January 23, 2018 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born May 7, 1969 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to Manuel Orozco and Guadalupe Melero. He grew up in Ciudad Juarez and graduated from Arguilar Serdan High School in 1989. He also attended EITC in Idaho Falls and Ricks College in Rexburg, ID where he obtained his certificate of completion in welding April 14, 2000.
He served in the Mexican Army.
On October 27, 1998 he married Maria del Carmen Martinez in Idaho Falls, and they were together for 27 years.
Antonio worked for 11 years at Matthews Plumbing and Heating.
He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter—day Saints.
He loved fishing, football, and spending time with his beautiful wife; daughter Paola, and his grandchildren. He would always say, "Studying is first, before play."
He is survived by his wife Carmen; daughter, Paola; son, Abdul; Grandsons, Atticus Cleverly, and Michael Leon Orozco; and Granddaughter, Alaysa Abigail Orozco
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. February 3, 2018 at the Mesa LDS Spanish Branch Chapel 2349 Virlow Dr. Idaho Falls, with President Herb Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls.
