He was born Oct. 8, 1990 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the son of Santiago and Miranda Martinez. He grew up in the Idaho Falls area and attended Hillcrest High School.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He liked to hang out with friends and family. He enjoyed modeling, singing, dancing and going to the mall. He was a free spirit and always happy. Argenis was a loving and caring friend, brother, nephew, and cousin to many.

Survivors are his father, Santiago Martinez, of Idaho Fall; his mother, Carmen Martinez, of Idaho Falls; sister, Giselle Martinez, of Idaho Falls; brother, Santiago A. Martinez, of Idaho Falls; Grampa: Aristeo (Venancia Trejo) Martinez, Zimapan Hgo, Mexico; Grampa: Angel (Maria ) Ramos, Waco, Texas; his uncles, Jacinto Martinez, Salvador (Veronica) Martinez, Angel (Griselda) Martinez, Javier (Inez) Martinez, Eloy (Evelyn) Martinez, Guillermo Martinez, Juan (Leticia) Martinez, Ernesto Martinez, Vicente (Elsa) Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Felipe Mendoza, all of Idaho Falls, and Juan Antonio (Angela) Ramos, Waco, Texas; aunt, Maria delaLuz (Jorge) Miranda, Zimapan, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Maria Gonzalez, Manuel Miranda, Antonis Herrera, Aunt Esperanza Vazque, Uncles Porfirio Martinez, Julian Gonzalez Lionso Gonzalez, Grama Carmen soto, Gramma Lorenzo Trejo.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the Christ the King Catholic Church, corner of 17th and Woodruff. The family will meet with friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday evening at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, with the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Ammon Cemetery.
