Obituary

Ashley Marrie Jeppsen, 40, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital, surrounded by those who loved her. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Ashley was born on November 20, 1984, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Jon Edward Simmons and Nancy Smith Simmons. She was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho, where she graduated from Blackfoot High School a year early in 2002. Always driven, she went on to attend I-Tech and earned her bachelor's degree in 2012 for business and marketing. She also pursued her love of beauty and style at Vogue Beauty School.

On July 9, 2005, Ashley married Ryan Jeppsen in Rigby; although their marriage later ended, they shared the joy of raising their beloved children.

Ashley lived most of her life in the Idaho Falls area but also spent meaningful time in California and Washington. She interned at Disneyland, one of her favorite places, and worked for the Idaho National Laboratory. She built homes both in Washington and later on her family's property, next to her sister.

Creative and energetic, Ashley enjoyed swimming, cheerleading, dancing, traveling, concerts, and crafting. She had a lifelong love for all things Barbie and Disney. Her compassionate heart led her to advocate for domestic violence awareness, and she was active in related programs through I-Tech.

Above all, Ashley was a devoted and loving mother. Her greatest joy was supporting her children—whether at beauty pageants, Jujitsu classes, or any activity they loved. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Ashley is survived by her three cherished children: Saydee Lynn Jeppsen, Nora Hope Gradin, and Mayson Jeppsen; her mother, Nancy Simmons of Rigby; her siblings: Sebastian Trey (Izzy) Simmons of Idaho Falls, Nova Mock of Idaho Falls, Tilliya Simmons of Rigby, Panacea (Chris) Rubin of Centralia, Washington , and Lee (Miles) Lappin of Kalispell, Montana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jon Edward Simmons, and her grandmother, Carol Fields.
