Balvina Trejo Torres, 61, passed away February 9, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

She was born March 30, in Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico. She was raised by her grandmother, Maria Soledad Gonzalez in El Salitre, Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico.

On March 10, 1980, Balvina married her sweetheart, Isidro Trejo – Rosas, in Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. Balvina was strong, loving, gentle, and understanding. She always had a way of fixing any problem that came her way.

She is survived by her husband, Isidro Trejo–Rosas; her sons: Isidro Trejo JR. (Jimena) of Basalt, Idaho, Daniel Trejo (Jacqueline) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Roberto Trejo of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughters: Margarita Trejo of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Marlene Trejo (Sergio) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Soledad Gonzales; her aunt, Eufracia Torres; and her uncles: Fransisco Torres and Pedro Torres.

The family will visit with friends and family from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing from 12-12:45 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary. Interment will be at Ammon Cemetery.
