Barbara Ann (Williams) Daniel,  84, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 21, 2019, at Morningstar Senior Living. Barbara was born on August 22, 1935, in Joplin, Missouri to the late Virgil Lee Williams and Trilby Ambline (Sanders) Williams. Barbara was the third of four children; Ruth Lee (Williams) Cunningham (deceased), Gayleen (Williams) Lindquist (deceased) and her only surviving sibling, Leo (Deanna) Williams.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Richard Daniel Sr., on October 25, 2016, who she has greatly missed. Barbara and Melvin were married for 64 years. Together, they had three children.

In 1984, Barbara and Mel moved to Idaho Falls to be closer to their children and to allow Mel to live out his retirement dream of being a cowboy. Barbara was not so excited about the western way of life, but it gradually grew on her. Mel even convinced her to get on a horse a time or two.

Barbara was known for her cooking and baking skills, especially her Christmas cookies and pies. She has passed her love of cooking and baking onto her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children, Dennis James Daniel, Melvin Richard Daniel, Jr, Carrie Daniel; her grandchildren, David Ray Daniel, Jacqueline Marie (Matthew) Watson, Nicole Brittany Daniel, Nicholas Richard Daniel, Kaitlyn Breanne Daniel, and three great-grandchildren, Jamison David Daniel, Mia Watson, and Josephine Watson.

A private family service will be held graveside at the Grant-Central Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
