She was born October 19, 1920, in Derby Line, Vermont, to Edgar Crumpler and Margaret S. Gallaher Crumpler. She grew up and attended schools in Bristol, Connecticut. In 1938, she graduated from Bristol High School.
On October 5, 1946, she married Gilbert N. Dickinson in Bristol. They lived in West Hartford, Connecticut and after her husband's death, March 21, 1999; she later moved to Idaho to be closer to family.
While living in West Hartford, she was active in the First Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan D. Dunnells of Ammon, Idaho; son, David N. Dickinson of Middletown, CT; son-in-law, Rodney B. Dunnells of Hartford, CT; grandsons: Ryan D. (Meredith) Dunnells and their sons, Ethan and Connor Dunnells of Idaho Falls; Peter J. (Kristen) Dunnells and their children, Kylie and Morgan Dunnells of Tacoma, Washington; and Christopher M. Dunnells of Louisville, Kentucky sister, Mabel Wheeler of Scottsdale, Arizona
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006, at the First Baptist Church, 90 N. Main, in West Hartford, Connecticut. Local arrangements have been under the direction of Coltrin mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Book of Rembrance Fund.
