Obituary

Barry Cazier of Idaho Falls caught the Heavenly Express Wednesday morning promptly at 7:03, 22 July 2015, at home in Idaho Falls following pancreatic cancer. Barry was born in St. Anthony, Idaho 7 March 1953 to Ambrose Elmo Cazier and Rula Miller Cazierthe youngest of three sons. He loved life and filled it with the most fun he could find. He grew up in St. Anthony and held fond memories of good friends and neighbors. Oh, the stories he told of his boyhood in St. Anthony! Barry worked several jobs in junior high and high school to support his motorcycle habit. He bought his first bike with his own cash at age 14, and traveled to Blackfoot, Boise, and Logan to race. Barry met the love of his life, Vicki Lea Grover the spring of 1971. Barry's racing schedule kept the courtship slow. Motorcycles in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter kept the dating in quick bursts during the spring and the fall. After a serious crash, Barry decided to serve an LDS Mission in Arizona. Upon his return, Barry married Vicki in the Idaho Falls Temple on 25 April 1975. This year marks their 40th wedding anniversary! As his little family moved from Salt Lake City, Utah to Twin Falls, Idaho, Barry continued his education. Often Barry could only do one class at a time. He aced every class no matter the subject. Learning was always very important to him. Barry willingly served in several church assignments. He served faithfully in Sunday school, Young Men's, Elders Quorum, and beyond. During his tenure as a Scoutmaster to 21 boys, many prayers ascended for both him and the boys. Apparently live trees and dead trees look exactly the same when you're color blind. He served in a Bishopric and also in a Branch Presidency for single adults. He loved the youth and could always see potential in every youth he met. Barry owned and operated Pump Tech on the North Yellowstone Highway for 30 years. He loved adding to the community with a tangible service. He loved traveling to new projects, figuring out complicated systems, and he had a knack for thinking outside the box. He is survived by his wife Vicki; his children D. Kolby (Kathryn) Cazier of Idaho Falls, Tyler B. (Maleen) Cazier of Orem, Utah, and Jeremiah Ryan "J. R." (Jami) Cazier of Idaho Falls; as well as 10.5 grandchildren: Kase, Hank, K. J., June, Robyn, Ivory, Daisy, Pearl, Rozzlyn, Jack, and our new tiny toes, brothers: E. M. Cazier of St. Anthony and Craig (Diana) Cazier of Shelley. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, 25 July 2015, at the LDS Church at the corner of Sunnyside and Holmes, 3195 S. Holmes with Bishop Hillam officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com
