Obituary

Barry was born in Casper, Wyoming on March 25th, 1944, and adopted by his parents Burr and Marjorie Robbins when he was three months old. Burr and Marjorie raised Barry, their only child in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He spent most of his early childhood years by his father's side hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. As a teenager he worked for his father at the family owned Independent Oil Company. Barry enlisted in the Army in 1961, and after completing his service, moved to Washington State. He spent several years in Washington, and then moved back to Jackson Hole. There he met the love of his life and soul mate Kathy (Roice) Robbins. Barry and Kathy married on February 14, 1971 and were blessed with a son, J.R Robbins and a daughter Missy Robbins. Barry lived, loved and raised his family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He loved camping, four-wheeling, and the large family get-togethers for the simple joys of food-family-and laughter. His hearty laugh and practical jokes were a joy for all his family and friends alike. Barry was a generous man who enjoyed spoiling those he loved. Barry was a hard worker and loved to drive truck. Some of the best times in his life were working along side his brother-in-laws Miles, Monty and Kenny Roice. Barry was devoted to the family owned business Arrow Contractors from 1971 through 1977. In 1978, Barry went to work for the Town of Jackson, and retired in 2004. After his retirement Barry and Kathy moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho due to his failing health. Barry is preceded in death by his parents Burr and Marjorie Robbins, and his life long best friend Frank L. Query. Barry is survived by his wife Kathy (Roice) Robbins, his son J.R. Robbins, his daughter Missy Robbins, and his grandchildren Jeffery, Mason, Jacob, Carin, Vikki, and Matthew. He was a wonderful and loving daddy, a devoted friend and husband, and always a man of his word. We love you papa.........
