Bernice Isabelle Vineyard Flint, 77, of Idaho Falls, died May 18, 2010, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born March 14, 1933, in Walton, West Virginia, to Kit Carson Vineyard and Emma Williams Vineyard. She grew up and attended school in Walton, West Virginia; Ohio, and Shelley and Idaho Falls, Idaho. She graduated in 1949 from Shelley High School. On February 3, 1952, she married Robert Lynn Flint in Seattle, Washington. Since her husband was a career naval man, they lived in many areas including Texas, California, Louisiana, Florida and Tennessee before retiring in Idaho Falls. She worked at White Star Laundry and Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed needlework, cooking, berry picking, and quilting; she won several national awards for her quilting. She was a devoted wife and mother who made every day fun and exciting. She is survived by the following: sons: Timothy (Laura) Flint of Iona, Idaho, and Richard (Natalie) Flint of Benton City, Washington; a daughter, Marsha (Greg) Said of Boise, Idaho; her mother, Emma Vineyard of Iona, Idaho; brothers: Noel (Martha) Vineyard of Montpelier, Idaho; Bill (Bonnie) Vineyard of Weiser, Idaho; K. C. (Beverly) Vineyard of West Valley City, Utah; Greg (Linda) Vineyard of Casper, Wyoming; Mark (Dell) Vineyard of Jerome, Idaho; and David (Judy) Vineyard of Mesquite, Nevada; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who passed away on April 7, 2010; her father, and three brothers.
