Beryl Vivian Blattner Waters, 92 years old, of Idaho Falls passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, surrounded by her family. Beryl was born August 11, 1926, in Arco, Idaho to Stanley Charles and Vivian Combe Blattner. She was the first born of seven children, followed by Lynn, Claudene, Shirley, Renae, Gary and Garth.

Beryl graduated from Butte County High School in 1944.  During and after high school she worked at the telephone office in Arco, for a number of years, as well as various cafes and grocery stores.  Beryl met her sweetheart, John A. Waters (Pete) from Moore, Idaho, and married him on September 24, 1950 in Elko, Nevada. Pete and Beryl were blessed with three children: Connie (Erik) Strom, John Lynn Waters, and Chuck (Suzie) Waters, all of Idaho Falls. Together they have ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Beryl was a stay at home mom and home maker. She loved spending time with her close friends and family here in Idaho Falls and Arco. Mom enjoyed going to their home in Island Park, bowling, snowmobiling, boating, and water skiing.

Beryl was preceded in death by her husband, John (Pete); daughter, Connie; brothers: Lynn and Gary; sisters: Shirley and Renae; parents, Stan and Viv. She is survived by her brother, Garth and sister, Claudene and her children: Lynn, Chuck and son-in-law Erik.

Beryl was greatly loved and will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 16 ^th at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco, Idaho.
