She was raised in Idaho Falls, ID and attended Bonneville High School. She was a graduate of the Idaho Falls Business College.

Betty was married to Jim Haire on Saturday, May 16, 1970 in Woodville, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, D. Joe and wife, Kay, Michelle Cleek and husband, George and Jacqui Braunesriether and husband, LeJay; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Judy Martell of Benson, AZ, Ellen Brower of Whales, UT and Sheila Harmon of Jerome, ID.

Betty found great joy in her grandchildren and watching them grow.

She worked as a bank processing operator, and store clerk.

Betty is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed many opportunities of service there.

Services will be held Monday, September 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Haines Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5709 Haines Ave. NE. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the services.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 at the Ucon Cemetery in Ucon, Idaho under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary of Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent to the family online, and a map to the cemetery may be found at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
