She was born June 27, 1937, in Zurich, Montana, to Willis and Hazel Waite Norton. She grew up in numerous places. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1955. She graduated from the ISU Technical School of Business.

She married Robert F. Taylor on June 4, 1960, in Pocatello, Idaho.

She lived in Oakley, Malta, Pocatello, and Shelley. She worked at Albertsons, Farmers Insurance, and Kaman Industrial Technologies.

She was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church.

She loved sewing, crocheting, gardening, making dolls, and quilting, canning fruit, jam, and vegetables.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Amber and Cindy Dayley, Heidi Burgoyne, and Kelsy and Justin Holder.

She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Taylor of Idaho Falls; 2 daughters, Wendy (Thomas) Holder of Pocatello, and Connie Dayley, of Idaho Falls; 3 sisters, Eileen (Virgil) Jackson, Salt Lake City, Utah, Carol Bledsoe, Ontario, Oregon, and Edna (Marv) Swallow, of Pocatello; 2 brothers, Sherman (Gussie) Norton, of Pocatello, and John (JoAnn) Norton, of Pocatello; 3 granddaughters, Amber Dayley, Cindy Dayley, and Heidi Burgoyne (Joe) of Pocatello; 2 grandsons, Kelsey Holder, and Justin Holder (Kourtney) of Pocatello, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Eileen Jonae Taylor, and brothers, Blaine Norton, Willis Norton, and Gary Norton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, in Idaho Falls, with Pastor Thomas Holder officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Park in Idaho Falls.
