Obituary

Beulah Quinton Miller, 88, of Idaho Falls, died Friday, October 14, 2011, at Mountain Valley Assisted Living Center in Ammon. Beulah was born February 4, 1923, in Taylor, Idaho, to Oliver and Elvira Lords Quinton. She grew up in Taylor. She married J. Dean Miller May 24, 1949, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Beulah and Dean lived in Idaho Falls where Beulah was a homemaker, and had her own drapery business. Later she worked for Ahlstrom's Furniture sewing draperies. An outstanding seamstress, Beulah always had a vegetable garden, and loved working in her flowers and trees. Her family was most important to her and she loved having them visit in her later years. Beulah was a member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Relief Society President and served in the Primary and Sunday School. She and Dean served a mission to Bristol, England, and officiated in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was a loving wife and mother. She was soft spoken and kind to everyone she met. The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Assisted Living Center and Solace Hospice for their loving care. Beulah is survived by her husband J. Dean Miller of Idaho Falls; 4 sons; Reed Miller (Rebecca) of Orem, UT; Linden Miller of Ogden, UT; Kent Miller (Donna) of South Jordan, UT; Calvin Miller (Delain) Liberty Lake, WA; 3 daughters; Carla Judy (Dan) of Ammon, Idaho; Gayla Dahl (David) of Wylie, TX; Shirlene Tonks (Dennis) of Kearney, MO; 1 brother; Charles Elzo Quinton of Buhl, Idaho; 26 grandchildren and 62 great-grand-children.
