Beverly Mae Bulkley Huffaker, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep August 15, 2010, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1933, in Burley, Idaho, to Edwin Ross and Tessie Grace Bulkley. In 1945, the family moved to Idaho Falls. Beverly graduated in 1952 from Idaho Falls High School. Following graduation, she worked at the Riverside LDS Hospital as a Certified X-Ray Technician. On November 2, 1956, she married Lynn Huffaker in Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Nampa, Idaho, until 1958, when Lynn was drafted into the Army. For most part of two years, they lived off post at Ft. Lewis, Washington. After returning from the Army, Lynn farmed in the Menan, Idaho area while Beverly worked at the Hatch Clinic. In 1962, they moved back to Nampa, where Beverly enjoyed being a housewife. An adopted son, Mark Lynn, joined the family in 1962 and a son, Eric Ross was born in 1965. The family moved to Alpine, Wyoming, for a season before returning to Idaho Falls. Another son, Scott Craig, joined the family in 1967. Idaho Falls continued to be their home. Beverly was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many positions working mostly with the young people from Primary age to and including the Young Women. Beverly was also active in the Relief Society program. Beverly was a kind and loving person always inquiring about the welfare of others. Whenever she could, she was always willing to share or lend a helping hand. She is survived by her husband, Lynn Huffaker;2 sons: Mark Lynn Huffaker of Idaho Falls and Scott Craig (Lisa) Huffaker of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eric Ross; 3 brothers: Rollo, Keith, and Ross Bulkley; 2 sisters: Jeannie Van Engelen and Joyce Musso; and a niece, Aleta Van Engelen. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010, at the Idaho Falls LDS North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Dr. with Bishop Kevin Hathaway officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday, August 19, 2010, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls and Friday one hour prior to the services.
