William Thomas "Bill" Behner, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013, at his home of cancer. He had been under the care of One Source Hospice. He was born February 5, 1958, in Decatur, Illinois to Elvata "Bonnie" Marie Sims. Later, his mother married Raymond Kenneth Behner. Raymond legally adopted Bill when he was in his teens. He recently located and visited his biological father, half brother and 3 sisters in Pennsylvania. Bill graduated from Blue Mound High School in 1976. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp. On April 19, 1980, he married Sharon R. Brininger at Camp Pendleton. Bill was a carpet layer when he first moved to Idaho Falls. After working several other jobs, he became the assistant manager for Jacksons' convenience stores. He enjoyed golf, panning for gold, four-wheeling, spending time with his family, and playing and spoiling his grandchildren: Anthony, Analicia, Kayla, Haydin and JoAnne. Bill was a generous man and always put others needs above his own. We will greatly miss him. He is survived by the following: Wife, Sharon Behner of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Amber (Sam) Hubbard of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming; Son, Kenneth (Lorraine) Behner of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Christina (Bryce) Hendrickson of Idaho Falls; Sisters: Geneva (Mark) Jauch of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Jody (Larry) Glenn of Texico, Illinois; Tina (Ron) Delaney of Middletown, Pennsylvania; Kathy (Tim) Stewart of Boyers, Pennsylvania, and Rose Delaney of Mercer, Pennsylvania; Brothers: Randy Behner of Illinois; Michael (Debbie) Seybert of Rochester, Pennsylvania; Biological father, James (Tiny) Seybert of Pennsylvania; and 5 grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Raymond Behner; aunt and uncle, JoAnne and Bill Creamer and his Grandfather and Grandmother Sims. A Gathering will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Hardy's Pub and Grill, 2626 N. Yellowstone highway, Idaho Falls, ID.
