Blanche Williams McBride was born in Osgood, Idaho to Alma and Sarah Killpack Williams on April 3, 1926.  She returned to her heavenly home on October 15, 2017.  Blanche enjoyed a happy childhood on the farm.  She loved sports, played the saxophone, and excelled in school.  Blanche attended Ammon and Idaho Falls High School where she met Roy McBride.  They fell in love and married in the Logan LDS Temple on August 7, 1946.

After attending Ricks College, Blanche supported her husband through school.  She also worked as a secretary for Linden Park Elementary, where the students adored her.  Her greatest love was being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She created happy, magical places in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with her unconditional love and nurturing. Blanche loved to spend summers in Island Park. She enjoyed lounging with a good book and visiting relatives with Roy at their property at Mack's Inn.

Blanche was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in teaching and leadership callings. She was an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls Temple for 17 years.

Blanche is survived by her loving husband, Roy, and their children: Jan (Ron) Romrell of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Michael (Tanya) McBride of Idaho Falls, Idaho, David (Kerry) McBride of Mesa, Arizona, and Christine (Kory) Wright of Syracuse, Utah.  They have 19 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Todd Romrell.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Idaho Falls Stake Center, 1155 1st Street.  The family will visit with friends from 11:00-12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
