Obituary

Bonita (Bonnie) Jaye Duncan Bradley, 75, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 1, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1948, to Jay Wayland Duncan and Bonita Ellen Harrison Duncan. She grew up in Idaho Falls and Rigby and attended Rigby High School.

In September of 1969, she married Thomas William Glon in South Bend, Indiana. On October 18, 1972, they welcomed their son, Shane Thomas Glon, into the world. Bonnie and Tom later divorced. She married Scott Bradley in November of 1979, and they later divorced.

Bonnie spent most of her life in many areas between Rigby, ID, Idaho Falls, and Indiana. She then ended up back in Idaho Falls where she spent the rest of her life. Bonnie started working in the service industry. She later went on to work for French's, The Teamsters Union and later retired from the INL. She was a member of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

For several years Bonnie enjoyed her time as a member of The Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Idaho Falls. When she wasn't working, Bonnie absolutely loved spending time cross country skiing, dancing, camping in Island Park with her friends and family and playing golf any chance she got. She was always involved and loved doing anything her granddaughter, Jessi, was involved in. Shane and Jessi were the center of her world.

Bonnie will always be remembered as having the most fun, a very loving, and caring lady with the biggest heart. We can't forget that she was the sassiest woman too.

The family would like to thank Lincoln Court Assisted Living, Turtle and Crane Assisted Living, and Symbii Home Health and Hospice for taking care of Bonnie in the last few years.

She is survived by her son, Shane (Jeannie) Glon of Idaho Falls; granddaughter, Jessi Glon of Rigby; three brothers: Jeff Duncan of Rigby, Derk (Terri) Duncan of Idaho Falls, and Dennis (Tona) Duncan of Idaho Falls; and one sister, Chyllia Duncan of Idaho Falls; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Larry Duncan, Wayne Floyd Schofield, Jay Wayne Duncan, and Michael Duncan; and two sisters: Wanda Schofield and Cheryll Duncan.

There will be a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Elks Lodge, 640 E. Elva, Idaho Falls. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
