Obituary

Brian David Fairbank, 39, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. Brian was born on August 2, 1975, in Cerritos, California, to David and Christine Fairbank. He grew up in California and graduated from Etiwanda High School in 1993. He attended Ricks College and Idaho State University, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing. On December 5, 2009, he married Amy Carmen Wolfley, in Idaho Falls, they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on February 14, 2015. Brian was employed with Wal-mart for the past 15 years. His most recent position was co-manager. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two year mission in Maryland. He served faithfully in various church positions throughout his life. Brian led many charitable events raising money for local non-profit organizations. He motivated many of his co-workers to serve alongside him. Brian had a passion for exploring new places and loved to travel. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as: four wheeling, camping, river rafting, gardening, and archery. The activity he cherished most was spending time with his family. Wherever Brian was, he was determined to make sure a good time was had by all. He was an especially loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Amy Carmen Fairbank, of Idaho Falls; his daughter, Millie Nicole; his step-children, Ashley Amy Smith and Ren Robert Smith, all of Idaho Falls; his brother, Michael Fairbank, of California; his half-brother, Don Jenkins, of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Christine Fairbank, and his half-brother, Sebastian Fairbank. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at Kearney 1st Ward, 1860 Kearney St., Idaho Falls, with Bishop Greg Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Orem City Cemetery, Orem, Utah.
