Brian Neil (Bri) Gardner, 44, of Kuna and formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his sister's home in Meridian.

Brian was born on May 9, 1976, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Richard (Barney) and Kris Sheen Gardner. He grew up in Idaho Falls, ID, Dillon, MT, and Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1994 and went on to Idaho State University.

After college, he worked in St. George, UT. He then started his own concrete business in Boise, ID. He drove a tanker truck in Stanley, ND.

Brian loved the mountains and outdoors including camping, fishing, and hunting. He played hockey and football in high school and continued enjoying the sports.  Brian also liked to watch and wager on horse races. Brian could fix anything and everything—he was a jack of all trades. He loved his family and especially his nieces. He would take his nieces to feed the ducks, fly kites, help them get into mischief, and out to eat.

Big B, our mountain of a man had a heart bigger than the size of Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Kris Simpson of Meridian, ID; his father, Richard (Kelly) Gardner of Rigby, ID; his brothers: Douglas Gardner of Kuna, ID, and David Simpson of Meridian, ID; his sister, Melissa Neibaur of Meridian, ID; and his 2 nieces: McKaylee and Elizabeth.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Helen and Neal Gardner and Lily and Earl Sheen.  Also preceding him in death was John Simpson, his stepdad.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Due to COVID restrictions, please wear a face mask if you plan to attend the services.  Services will be broadcast live on facebook.com/coltrinmortuary.
