Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Calen Joshua Walters, who left this world far too soon at the age of 18. He passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born on March 28, 2007, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Josh Walters and Amy Davis. He graduated from Bonneville Online High School in 2025. Calen was the king of chaos, the master of mischief, and the undefeated champion of giving his parents hell. He thrived on causing ruckus with his brothers, singing like nobody was listening (and they usually wished they weren't), and living life in the fast lane; literally.

If there was trouble to be found, Calen was already there, laughing, daring someone to join him, and probably making it ten times crazier. He was part comedian, part daredevil, and completely unforgettable. Whether he was charming you with that grin or driving you insane with his antics, Calen had a way of leaving an impression you couldn't shake. He was a wild soul who squeezed 100 years of living into just 18.

Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the love he gave and the laughter he inspired. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Amy Davis and Andy Seeley, and Josh and Brittney Walters; his brothers: Eston and Phoenix; his sisters: Dakotah and Charly; his grandparents: Jackie and Blaine Davis, Deb and Mitch Walters, Carrie and Roy Hansen; his aunts and Uncles; and so many cousins and his extended family, and countless friends.

Calen will always be remembered for his humor, his fearless spirit, and the love he had for his family and friends.

He will live on in every memory, every laugh, and every life he saved through his organ donation. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Nurses, Doctors, and Donor Team at EIRMC who showed so much compassion to Calen and his entire family.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, to donate to Donor Connect in Calen's name at https://www.donorconnect.life/contribute/ .

A celebration of Calen's life will be held at Noon, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends and family from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., prior to the services at the mortuary. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the joy and mischief he brought into our lives. We will be wearing an array of sarcastic or inappropriate shirts and crazy socks in honor of Calen. Feel free to participate if you would like.

We will continue to celebrate his life with lunch following the service, at his Aunt Steph's house. Please bring a camping chair to come sit, hang out, and share your favorite stories and memories of Calen. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
