Carlos Junior Vega, son of Carlos Vega and Veronica Rivera, was born September 30, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, and died peacefully surrounded by his family on October 2, 2011, at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his parents, Carlos Vega and Veronica Rivera; 3 brothers: Hector Rivera, Aidan Vega, Victor Rivera all of Idaho Falls; a sister, Natalia Vega of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Martin and Delia Rivera of Idaho Falls and Uriel and Carmen Vega of Idaho Falls. Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, corner of 9th and Lee with Father Raul Covarrubias as celebrant. The family will visit with friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls prior to going to the church for Mass. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
