IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carly
Traue
December 1, 1982 – May 14, 2018
Our sweet, beautiful, first-born baby girl was born December 1, 1982, in Salt Lake City Utah. It was a snowy day with record low-pressure. She grew up in West Jordan and Sandy, Utah and moved with her family to Idaho Falls in 1995.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Carly graduated from Skyline High School in 2001, and subsequently moved back to Salt Lake City. She worked for Bonneville International, and later KUTV, in the traffic departments scheduling all the commercials that would air each day for several radio stations and numerous TV stations across the country. She also took classes at Utah Valley University and the University of Phoenix.
Carly later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas doing similar work.
She moved back to the Salt Lake area where her beautiful daughter Chloe was born in 2010. Later she moved back to Eastern Idaho, making a wonderful home in Ammon with her faithful companion, Casey Murphy. Their beautiful baby daughter, Callie May was born in 2015.
Carly is a peaceful, kind soul who loved all people and animals. She endured much physical pain in her lifetime and passed away May 14, 2018, of heart failure, two days after hosting Callie's third birthday party.
She is survived by her companion, Casey Muphy; daughters: Chloe and Callie May; sister, Allison; brothers: Kyle and wife April, Drew and fiancé, Shay; nieces: Teagan Morrow and Addison Traue; nephew, Karson Traue; parents: Bill and Colleen Pace Traue, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandmother, Velda May Pace of Delta, Utah; and many aunts and cousins that will miss her.
She was greeted in heaven by her grandparents: Henry and Latha Traue; grandfather, Carl Marion Pace; and dogs: Eddie and Alfie.
A brief funeral service for Carly will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Sage Lakes LDS Ward building, 3370 North 500 West in Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
