Carol was born to C.E. "Scotty" and Rachel Wilcox on November 29, 1935 in Illinois. She and her siblings Janny, Bob and Shannon celebrated a lovely family life on their farm in Indiana. All the while Carol loved to dance and dance she did, all the way to the University of Utah and Ballet West. There she met Donnie J. Barr, a big, strong, sweet-hearted football player who was the love of her life. Together, they proudly have two magnificent children, Scott (Julia) Barr of Idaho Falls and Tanya (Scott) Maierhofer of Denver. They also have six wonderfully beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Claire and Riley Barr and Kyle, Brian and Sean Maierhofer.

Carol spent her time making special the lives of others. She was the constant cheerleader and shined her incredibly bright light on all those she met.
