He was born September 8, 2006, 6-weeks early and without a small intestine, at the University of Utah and was immediately transferred to the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. His family enjoyed 10 wonderful weeks with him in their home.
Rachel and Casey took him everywhere to see the world. He saw Yellowstone Park, Jackson Hole, Bozeman, Montana; Island Park, and all of Utah watching his Dad play soccer.
Carter helped his Mom keep books at work and his Dad deliver oxygen at his work. He was a successful hunter on his 1st deer and elk hunting trip. He loved to be held and loved his family very much.
Carter is survived by his parents, his grandparents, Dennis and Judy Schanz of Iona; Calvin and Rebecca Robinson of Clatskanie, Oregon; great-grandparents, Lyle and Darlene Lowder of Rexburg, and Joe and Darlis Robinson of Adrian, Oregon; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private funeral and burial services will be held. The family will visit with friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street in Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
