Catherine G. Reno, 78, of Iona, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. On May 25, 1937, Catherine was born in Santa Clara, California, to Henry and Bernice Gaffney. They moved to Connell, Washington where she graduated from high school in 1955. She married Robert Reed and they were later divorced. On November 10, 1978, she married Norman Reno in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Where they continued to live and raise their family. Catherine was a talented artists, she loved flowers and enjoyed 22 years of wintering in Hope, Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Norman Reno, of Iona, Idaho; her sons: Robert (Margaret) Reed, of Milton Freewater, Oregon, William (Sharlene) Reed, of Pasco, Washington; her daughters: Julie (Steve) Sutton, of Iona, Idaho, Susan (Grant) Frearson, of Irwin, Idaho; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bernice Gaffney. Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
