Cathy Marie Clayton, 64, of Roberts, Idaho, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the home of her son in Roberts. She was born June 12, 1949, in Gadsden, Alabama to John Felix Parnell and Mary Catherine Cate Parnell. She grew up in Etowah County, Alabama. In 1967, she graduated from Gaston High School. On September 13, 1971, she married Allen Lane Clayton in Gadsden. Besides Gadsden she lived in Silver Creek, Georgia. Cathy enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Allen Clayton of Roberts; sons: Jacob (Bobbie) Clayton of Roberts and William Clayton of Birmingham, Alabama; mother, Mary Parnell of Gadsden; brother, John (Patrisha) Parnell and a sister, Susan (Mike) Hickman both of Gadsden; and 3 grandchildren.
