Cathy Tea, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 02, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Cathy was born on February 11, 1948, in Driggs, Idaho, to Russell and Bertha Murdock. She grew up in the Driggs area graduating from Teton High in 1966. She attended Ricks College (BYU-Idaho) in Rexburg, Idaho. On July 13, 1973 she married her true love, Larry Tea, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had four children, two girls and two boys. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served and Young Women's President, Relief Society President and camp director. Cathy enjoyed horses, painting and sports. She loved to spend time with her family whenever she could. She is survived by her husband, Larry Tea, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her son, Charles (Spring) Tea, of Layton, Utah; her son, Nicholas Tea, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her daughter, Jennifer Hansen, of Pleasant Grove, Utah; her daughter, Rachael (Mark) Bradshaw, of Roy, Utah; her sister, Veloe (John) Brasier, of Ucon, Idaho; her brother, Gary (Mikki) Murdock, of Pocatello, Idaho; her sister-in-law, Donna Gay Murdock , of Driggs, Idaho; 8 grandchildren: Morganne Tea, Bentley Hansen, Madison Tea, Meadow Hansen, Urban Bradshaw, Lucas Tea, LilaRose Hansen, and Walker Prichard. She was preceded in death by her parents; Russell Curtis Murdock and Bertha Barker Murdock, her brothers: Randy Murdock and Tommy Murdock; and her grandson, Austin Bradshaw. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015, at the Cloverdale LDS Church, 1040 Crimson, Bishop Mike Sorenson will be officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be at the Iona Cemetery.
