Cecelia Jenny Weinkauff, 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
Cecelia was born on October 29, 1925, in Seneca, Kansas to Ernest Mize and Catherine Sorrick Mize. She grew up in Seneca. From 1942-1947, Cecelia worked the bottling line in East Chicago for Pepsi Cola General Bottlers. The Mize family served Pepsi Cola for 156 years.
On May 10, 1952, she married John Weinkauff in Joliet, Illinois. To this union, 4 children were born. The couple lived in Hammond, Indiana, Malvern, Arkansas, and finally Idaho Falls, Idaho. John passed away on June 13, 1990. She worked for Roger Brothers Potatoe and Gas & Grub.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She served the Braille Ministry. Mom had a great love for her family and was devoted to them. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, David (Charlene, deceased) Weinkauff of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her daughter, Donna (George) Baughman of Kennewick, Washington; her son Paul (Laurie) Weinkauff of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her daughter, Judy (Thom) Nash of Richland, Washington; 14 grandchildren, 24 and 1 coming soon great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Weinkauff; her parents: Earnest and Catherine Mize; her son, Jim Hershman; her daughter-in-law, Charlene Weinkauff; her granddaughter, Tyrene Bayot; and her 11 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Church, 290 7 th Street with Pastor Stephen Weems officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
