Charleen Lee Schmier, 79, Idaho Falls resident, died Sept. 21, 2012, at her home of heart failure. She was born May 31, 1933, in Idaho Falls, the daughter of Edward Joseph and Muzette Sayer Lee. She grew up and attended school in the Idaho Falls area. She married Delbert LeRoy Schmier April 11, 1951, in Idaho Falls and they spent their life together in the area. She was a homemaker throughout her life but she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and family gatherings. She was an avid cat lover and could not turn a stray away. She loved the holidays at Tammy and Carl's home with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy (husband, Carl) Williams, Idaho Falls; a son, Joe (wife, Janis) Schmier, Missoula, MT; a daughter, Cindy (husband, Ron) Bell, a daughter, Terri (husband, Brian) Johnson, all of Idaho Falls; 15 grand-children, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband in l978, a son, Michael, two sisters, Linda and Dorothy, parents, a grandson, Daniel, and a great-grandson, Teegan.
