Charlene (Chary) Kay Eakman, 69, of Richland, Washington, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at EIRMC in Idaho Falls, Idaho, while visiting an RV friend.
Chary was born on August 28, 1951, in Prosser, WA, to Frank Wolferd Eakman and Blanche Arlene Judkins Eakman. She grew up in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School in 1970.
On October 24, 1970, she married John Edward (Butch) Morris. To this union, a daughter was born. They moved to Grandview, WA. The couple was later divorced. She married Wilbur (Willie) Trusley Jr. in May 1979 and they moved back to Prosser. They later divorced.
After her divorce, she moved to Plymouth, WA where she became an RV'er and made many new friends and her good friend Linda whom she was visiting at her time of death. She moved to Richland, WA to be with her daughter, Jerrie. Chary worked as a bartender/waitress at Fire Side, China Grove, and Grandview V.F.W. She loved to read Sci-Fi books, work on puzzles, draw beautiful drawings of animals, ride horses, and she had a love for dogs as she raised many over the years.
She is survived by her daughter, JerrieLyn (Gary) Morris Thomas of Richland, WA; her sister, Christeen Eakman of Tigard, OR; two granddaughters: Jaelynn Morris and ReBecka Morris; and a great-grandson, Skyler Morris; her 3 bonus grandchildren and 4 bonus great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Eakman; her mother, Blanche Eakman.; and her sister, Kathleen Hunt.
