Charles "Chick" Howard Gage, 94, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living. Alliance Home Health and Hospice assisted the family with his care.

He was born April 9, 1922, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Howard P. Gage Sr. and Charlotte Connell Gage.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-1946 where he earned the rank of Staff Sargent.

On May 27, 1966, he married Marie Gillispie in California. She passed away Feb. 24, 2016.

They lived in Janesville, Wisconsin; Pasadena, Oakhurst, Pismo Beach and Santa Maria, California.

Charles was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. He is waiting for the Resurrection that Jesus spoke about in John 5: 28 & 29. Then, he will join the rest of the family in Paradise.  There, we will all see the blessing that Jehovah will give us! Revelation 21: 3 & 4.

Charles is survived by the following: brother, Howard (Janice) Gage of Janesville, WI; step-daughter, Patricia Frymire of Hemet, CA; step-son, Dan (Karen) Wiedman of Janesville, WI; grandsons: Martin Frymire of Hemet, CA and Matthew (Eryn) Frymire of Idaho Falls, ID; great-grandsons: Maeson and Luke Frymire both of Idaho Falls and Josh Frymire of Victorville, CA.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie T. Gage; brother, Jack Gage; and a sister, Kathleen (Gage) Fiedler.

No services will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, ID.
