Obituary

Chloe Ada Woolstenhulme Curtis, 98, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Driggs, Idaho, passed away December 20, 2005, at Syringa Assisted Living in Idaho Falls. She had been under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

She was born February 19, 1907, in Chapin, now Victor, Idaho to George Woolstenhulme and Eleanor Cluff Woolstenhulme. She grew up and attended school in Victor.

On June 6, 1928, she married Byron John Curtis in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was a mother and homemaker and helped her husband on their ranch near Driggs. She and Byron spent 20 winters in Mesa, Arizona, returning home for summers in the Teton Valley. Byron passed away December 9, 1992.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, making quilts, embroidering, and riding horses.

She is survived by the following: daughter, JeNean Curtis of Idaho Falls son, Lowell (wife, Julina) Curtis of Twin Falls son-in-law, Glade Ogden of Mesa, Arizona 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant children, Billie and Nila; a daughter, Margaret Ogden; five brothers, Delbert, Glen, Roy, Clifford, and Cleve Woolstenhulme; sisters, Velda Johnson, Ora Gillette, and Ella Berger.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2005, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Victor Cemetery
