She was born September 28, 1930, in Burwell, Nebraska, to Tom and Viola Loghry. She grew up and attended schools in Shoshoni, Wyoming.

Clara loved wintering in Quartzsite, Arizona, golfing, crocheting and painting. Clara was a very positive and loving person and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren, Michael and Kristy Abbott.

Survivors include her husband, John Para of Othello, Washington, one son, Greg (Jackie) Pickinpaugh of Casper, Wyoming, one daughter, Cheryl (Brad) McKinsey of Idaho Falls, one brother, Gerald Loghry of Riverton, Wyoming, one sister, Lillian McCoy of Riverton, Wyoming, 8 step-children, 2 grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren, and one 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
