Clara Rose Trotchie, 72, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Roberts, Idaho, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, at her home from cancer of the esophagus. She was born June 6, 1942, in Fort Belknap, Montana, the daughter of George Edward Trotchie and Mary Louise Briere Trotchie. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School, Helena Junior High School and she graduated from Helena High school. Clara attended School of Business in Spokane, Washington, Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where she studied construction and business. She later attended Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls where she studied construction management. Clara owned her own construction company as well as a farm until she retired. She enjoyed photography, gardening, prospecting, fishing and family reunions. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie L. Trotchie of Idaho Falls; a son, Brian N. Anderson of Rexburg, Idaho; 10 grandchildren: Boone Lott, Jake Lott, Kinley Gulley, Akio Anderson, Korbee Anderson, Kenzie Gulley, Katie Gulley, Korryn Gulley, Kassia Gulley, Angela Leavitt; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Pauline Fellows of Ocean Shores, Washington; Alice Auth of Garden City, Idaho; Jackie Trotchie of Missoula, Montana; Georgia Brunette of Boise, Idaho; and Dena Trotchie of Yakima, Washington. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Trotchie; two brothers, Albert and Joseph Trotchie; a sister, Florence Hansen and a granddaughter, Kassilina Schroeder. Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, in Rocky Boy, Montana. Clara will be buried next to her father in Kuper Memorial Cemetery in Chinook, Montana. Local services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Cresthaven LDS Stake Center, 1070 South 2nd East, Rexburg, Idaho.
