Clara O. Watson, 96, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and formerly of Oroville, Washington, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015, at her home. She had been under the care of her family and One Source Hospice. She was born April 1, 1918, in Ekalaka, Montana to Allen Edward Robinson and Nellie Ripley Robinson. She grew up in Montana and Washington. She went back to high school while she was in her 50's and graduated from Oroville High School. On December 19, 1939, she married Lloyd Melvin Watson in Stanford, Montana. They lived in Carter County, Montana; Holden and Oroville, Washington and after Lloyd's death December 12, 1976, she moved to Idaho Falls to be closer to her children. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Clara enjoyed bowling, golf, camping, fishing, hiking and reading. She was a volunteer teacher for autistic children and an elementary school aid for handicapped children. Clara is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Edward) Ziemianski of Idaho Falls, and a son, Lloyd Dean Watson of Pocatello; 2 sisters: Eva Vantella of Spokane, Washington, and Mary Bourn of Oroville, Washington; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eleven brothers and sisters. Private family services will be held at a later date.
