Clayton William Christoffel, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 18, 1951, in Sitka, Alaska, to Clement William Christoffel and Frances Imogene Hull Christoffel. He served in the United States Navy. 

In 1994, he married the love of his life, Jeanette Threadgill, in Phoenix, Arizona.

He loved being from Alaska and enjoyed fishing. He loved traveling on many different cruises and attending lots of concerts.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Christoffel of Idaho Falls; his brother, Ronald Christoffel of Oklahoma; and his sister, Mary Helem of Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Frances Christoffel; brother, Richard Christoffel; and sisters, Connie Thaler and Sandra North. 

A celebration of life will be held from 11 am to 3 pm, April 11, 2026, at the Eagles Lodge, 635 Hemmert, Idaho Falls, with military rites performed at 2:30 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family online at coltrinmortuary.com.
