Obituary

Clifford Leon Draper, 78, of Idaho Falls, died December 28, 2008, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

He was born August 6, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John William Draper and Carrie Bernice Ashbaugh Draper. He grew up and attended schools in Utah. In 1947, he graduated from West High in Salt Lake City. He came to Idaho Falls to work after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force.

On March 19, 1954, he married Lois Mae Shaw in Idaho Falls. He worked in the heating and cooling business; managed Eddy's Bakery and later worked for Common' Poultry until he retired.

He was an avid golfer and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by the following: wife, Lois Draper of Idaho Falls; daughters: Kim (Richard) Anselmo of Ammon and Carrie (Doug) Zitterkopf of Pocatello; sons: Richard (Roxanne Boozer) Draper, Paul Draper and Donald (Francine McIntosh) Draper all of Idaho Falls; brothers: John (Connie) Draper of Morgan, Utah, and Don Draper of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister, Betty (Lamont) Johnson of Salt Lake City; 5 grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Delbert Draper.

The family will visit with friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday evening, January 2, 2009, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
